Participatory Work with Others ~
Visiting and responding to art galleries and exhibitions is something I have been exploring in my own practice and with recent groups. Looking at artwork whether it be contemporary or historical is beneficial in so many ways and can open up the mind to endless possibilities, especially in using creativity.
‘Being Your Creative Self’ Project
8 Week Project - Workshops & Art Gallery Visits
Exploring how visiting and responding to art in a gallery and taking part in creative workshops helps mums and carers find time to prioritise themselves to help increase their health and wellbeing.

-
“Really lovely course that helped me relax and clear my mind.“
-
“Inspired me to want to do more of this.“
-
“I like the connection because I don't get enough of it during the day.“
-
“I leave and every time I feel better.“
-
“I felt very creative and very free and free flowing and happy, just wanted more really.“
-
“I liked when you brought all the books and told us a bit about the artists and styles.“
-
“I like them all, and I've got something from them all. I liked the first one, the abstract marking coz we were in the garden, and we were all working around the table, and it was very unlinear, lots of movement, just really experimental, which was nice, quite creative.“
-
“You've done such a fantastic job. Honestly, I love it. I love coming here to be surprised. And to be trying something new. And I've done so many new things that I really will miss it.“
-
“I like the slow looking because I don't usually do it. So it’s really good to just take that time. I wouldn't normally do that ever. I just look at it quickly, so to me it was, really amazing. And I want to study every detail, so it was good to make us stop and look and look again.“
